Copy and Paste to WYSIWYG Editor

How to copy and paste into the WYSIWYG Editor

  1. Open the WYSIWYG Editor for the page you want to add text.
  2. Open your exisiting document and select and copy the text that you want.
  3. Open Notepad (or similar text editor) and paste the text into it. (To open notepad...  Click Start, Programs, accessories, Notepad.)
  4. Now copy the text again from Notepad and paste it into the WYSIWYG editor.
  5. In the WYSIWYG editor, change the format of your text by selecting styles from the drop down list or by applying bold or italics etc.

(Important Tip: Never copy and paste directly from MS Word or other applications. Because Word processors will load other symbols and style information that will conflict with the working of your web site. Pasting to notepad as an intermediate step strips out the unwanted.)
