About This Guide

This guide is intended for users of e-mail hosting service who were given access to Plesk control panel for managing their mail accounts.

FirstLine can povide you with direct access to the Plesk Control Panel, where you can set and change your email settings. Contact your FirstLine Account Manager to learn more.

Settings to create a mail account within your email program

Each email program is different, so it's impossible to list all the possible setup combinations here. However, these are the main points;

  • POP Server Name: mail.yourdomain.com
  • SMTP Server Name: mail.yourdomain.com
  • Server Type: POP3 server
  • Username: The username part of your email address eg username@yourdomain.com.au 
  • Password: The password given by FirstLine (or that you create in the Plesk Control Panel)
