If Your ISP is Telstra or Optus
Telstra, Optus and some other ISP's will only allow you to send email through their own email server. If your ISP is Telstra or Optus, then it may be neccesary to change the outgoung email settings in your email client. Here is an example for Bigpond settings in Microsoft Outlook:
