Navigate the Backend.

Please take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the backend navigation.

At the top of the screen is the WebSystem navigation bar.

Most users will see 3 icons: Start, Users and Web.

The start Icon takes you to a screen that briefly explains the purpose of each of the visible navigation bar icons. It also gives access to this help system.

This section gives site administrators access to create new and additional site users. If you do not have access to this section and need to add new users contact your site administrator or FirstLine.

This section gives you access to the web sites that you are authorised to edit.

To access a site click on the site name.

The information shown on this screen is:

Green Tick: site is for public viewing

Red cross: site is for private (intranet /extranet) viewing. Only authorised users can access these pages.

Site ID: Each site in WebSystem has a Unique ID. (as does every page and file)
